The Periphery for Perfect Cutting is the new concept from ESAB Cutting Systems that brings together all ESAB technology available to complement the company's oxy-fuel, plasma and laser, cutting machines. For each of the cutting methods, ESAB provides supporting periphery equipment including cutting tables, air filter systems and heat recovery systems - all designed to provide the optimum workshop cutting environment.

Cutting tables from ESAB are designed to complement the major cutting technologies. Their modular design means they can be customised to integrate into any production environment. Tables are available to cut materials up to 300mm thick or 3000mm width/6,000mm length. Water tables are also available for underwater cutting as well as exchange table and pallet replacement system tables that enable fast loading and unloading of sheets.

Dust and smoke retraction systems with specially designed suction ducts ensure fresh air during the cutting process and operate with high efficiency levels and low noise. They are complemented by filter systems that counteract fine dust, protecting operators and helping companies to comply with all statutory regulations. ESAB, for health protection and environment management is certified to ISO 14001.

To recover heated air extracted from the cutting process, high efficiency rotation heat exchangers are available. With a claimed 80% efficiency and requiring minimal maintenance, payback times are short, according to the company.
