The GTMA is hosting its fourth ‘Make Measurement Matter Roadshow’ at The Digital Lab at Warwick University on 15th September 2010 from 9.30am to 4pm. The one day event will focus on 30 of the top metrology companies in the UK who are key participants in creating successful engineering solutions for all key industry sectors.
The programme includes keynote speakers Chris Biddle head of the Manufacturing Systems Centre of Competence at Rolls-Royce, Arthur David, director of the SMMT Industry Forum and Dr Mark Williams from Warwick University.
The day will be made complete with free parking, free refreshments including a buffet lunch and a ticket for the prize draw of a Morgan 4/4 sports car for the weekend if interested parties register online.
On 30 individual stands, visitors will be able to witness a wealth of metrology and gauging products from many of the industry’s leading players. A selection is listed below:
Yorkshire Precision Gauges (YPG) will be presenting a selection of products from its extensive range of reversible plug gauges, bore gauges, adjustable snap gauges, ring gauges, gauge blocks, screw plug and screw ring gauges.
As a member of the Bowers Metrology Group, Bowers UK supplies UK industry with a range of high quality precision measuring equipment. According to the company, customers benefit from the one stop shop nature of its centralised sales, service, training and customer support for the complete range of Bowers, Moore & Wright, CV Instruments, Baty International and special bore gauging systems.
Wenzel UK, part of the Wenzel Group is a family-owned provider of metrology systems including CMM’s, gear checking machines, industrial CT machines and non-contact scanning systems. At the roadshow, the company will showcase its MobileScan3D CNC non-contact scanning system.
