Citizen Machinery UK’s stand at MACH will embrace both the Citizen range of CNC sliding head turn/mill centres and Miyano fixed head turning centres.

Most of the machine models will be demonstrated for the first time at a UK exhibition together with launches of the latest production software developed at its Bushey, Watford headquarters for worldwide distribution after the show to help enhance productivity and machine utilisation.

Managing director Geoff Bryant explains: “In our view MACH gives us the ideal opportunity to broaden our customer base which means we need to show models that are in high demand in the current range alongside our latest developments.”

MACH 2010 saw the two manufacturers brought together for the first time and a third of all visitors to the stand were potentially new customers interested in how both machine ranges could benefit their need to lower the cost per part produced.

Mr Bryant continues: “Open house shows tend to be mainly supported by existing customers while the bi-annual MACH exhibition and the range of equipment on view makes it so important to expose the company to a wider audience of potential users. It also enables existing users to update themselves on the latest developments.

“What is important for us is that this year’s event will provide the opportunity for Citizen Machinery UK to show its CNC sliding head capability for machining bar sizes up to 35mm and the Miyano fixed head machine range with a bar capacity up to 64mm diameter. Visitors will also see the latest Ocean Cincom chucking lathe with its fully integrated automation packages and our latest software.”
