Available from tooling supplier, Stocdon, Click Change has developed and patented an entirely new family of carbide insert cutting holders. The engineers at Click Change recognised the significant costs involved in the insert changing process and set about developing a solution that claims to dramatically cut production costs, scrap, and minimise training requirements. It also reduces the skill level that is required to successfully change inserts and keep the job running. Click Change insert holders allow a machine operator to change inserts in seconds instead of minutes.

“Gone forever are the days of fumbling with a dropping wrenches, breaking or stripping out screws and living with soft insert pockets that wear out and lose their positioning ability,” announces Stocdon’s managing director, Richard Scally. “Click Change insert holders will successfully replace old style holders whether roughing, finishing, or a combination. The tools are robust and are manufactured from the highest grade materials and really spare no expense in quality and design,” he enthuses.

There are no wrenches needed to change inserts and there is no operator induced variability when inserts are replaced. The inherent design also prevents over tightening and misalignment.
